Christmas is just round the corner but we have a few special pieces in Scottish Gold that are ready to be shipped!
For the first time, you have the opportunity to purchase online a select few designs made from 18ct Scottish Gold. Up until now, all our jewellery in Scottish Gold has been made-to-order. But we now have a limited selection of luxurious pieces, ready for delivery in time for Christmas.
We also have a select few pieces from our popular Season's collection in 18ct white Scottish Gold with golden leaves in solid 18ct yellow and rose Scottish Gold. The pieces are highlighted in 'Autumn' enamel.
As one of only two jewellers in the world with access to Scottish Gold from the Cononish Gold mine, the designs using this precious metal are rare and exclusive.
Each piece of jewellery bears a unique serial number, which reflect the first three batches, refined from the original mine entrance which goes 1km into the mountain side.
The designs we have listed online are now the last available pieces made from the initial trial batch of 18ct Scottish Gold. We don't expect to receive more until April 2021 so this could be your last chance for several months to own your own piece of jewellery in Scottish Gold.
What makes Scottish Gold unique?
Cononish Gold Mine is Scotland's only commercial gold mine, located in hills in the West of Scotland, near the village of Tyndrum. The mine is owned by Scotgold Resources who have named their project after the valley where the mine sits and the river it overlooks. Cononish means 'where the waters meet' in Gaelic.
Items of jewellery made using Scottish Gold undergo rigorous testing by the Edinburgh Assay Office and are then engraved with the special Sheila Fleet Scottish Gold Mark and Scottish Gold identifier. All items are supplied in a luxury presentation box, accompanied by a unique serial number and certificate of authenticity.
