History & Background
Opening its doors in 2019, Sheila was delighted to finally establish a dedicated Sheila Fleet Jewellery shop within Glasgow’s historic and iconic Princes Square. Princes Square was voted Scotland's best building of the last 100 years in 2016 and has been protected as a category B listed building since 1970.
The concept behind the stunning retail gallery was to create an environment for the Scottish jewellery that reflected the light and lands of Orkney. Sheila and son, Martin, oversaw all details, working closely with Orcadian artist and interior designer, Marion Yorston. Everything within the shop's interior—the lighting, sculptures, architectural roof, and walls—reflects the landscape and light of the north of Scotland. Our Glasgow jewellery shop has a beautifully curved interior, golden seaweed sculptures, and a stunning Venetian plaster wall that showcases our Scottish Gold.
Sheila showcases some very special designer jewellery in this exquisite shop including exclusive designs made in rare Scottish Gold. Sheila Fleet is one of only two jewellers authorised to receive Scottish Gold from Cononish, Scotland's only commercial gold mine.
