Runic inscriptions are steeped in history and tradition, but Sheila gave her Runic jewellery collection a contemporary twist using enamel colours with her silver and gold designs. Sheila’s iconic Runic Iris design that reads “reflecting times past and present” is based on inscriptions found in Maeshowe, a chambered cairn built in Orkney around 2800 BCE, and was the main inspiration behind Sheila’s scarf design. The ombré of deep tones within the scarf beautifully complements the light blue-grey enamel in the jewellery. Pair the scarf with a classic piece from the Runic collection for a stylish look.
This design is one of many scarves available from Sheila Fleet.
