This Island Panorama statement necklace features three silver and enamel designs, separated by solid silver spacers, and hanging elegantly on a silver wire. The larger piece is approximately 8mm by 39mm and is flanked by two smaller pieces, each approximately 7mm by 29mm. The necklace is hand-enamelled in Sheila's 'Blue Grey' colourway in our Orkney workshop.

When viewed in wide, sweeping panoramas, Orkney's typically low-lying landscape can often appear as only a narrow strip separating sea and sky. Sheila has reinterpreted these smooth and graceful shapes into a simple, elegant collection in sterling silver and 'Shallows' enamel. This enamel evokes the colour of the sea as it washes over the shallow sands at Glimps Holm, one of many Orkney beaches that are an inspiration to Sheila.
