These Wild Grasses drop earrings feature two overlapping sterling silver strands, one in polished silver, the other hand-enamelled silver, hanging from silver posts. Each earring is delicately finished with a 2mm cubic zirconia, set by hand in our workshop in Orkney. These earrings are hand-enamelled in 'Meadow' enamel.
The wild and windswept coastlines of Orkney and Caithness, in the north of Scotland, are covered with marram grass that sweeps from side to side in the sea breeze. This hardy grass inspired Sheila to create her 'Wild Grasses' collection. Delicate free-flowing designs, layered with silver or gold, enamel and gemstones.
