This Wild Grasses pendant necklace features two overlapping sterling silver strands, one hand-enamelled, the other in polished silver. The design is enamelled in 'Meadow' enamel and is enhanced with a 3mm cubic zirconia set by hand in our Orkney workshop. The pendant hangs elegantly from a sterling silver curb chain.
The wild and windswept coastlines of Orkney and Caithness, in the north of Scotland, are covered with marram grass that sweeps from side to side in the sea breeze. This hardy grass inspired Sheila to create her 'Wild Grasses' collection. Delicate free-flowing designs, layered with silver or gold, enamel and gemstones.
