This beautiful quarter-carat (0.25ct) diamond ring in 9ct white gold is designed to mimic classic tension rings, where the diamond is clasped tightly between a tensioned band. Sheila’s design incorporates a dedicated setting for the diamond that secures the pavilion and culet of the gemstone. Seen from the front, the ring gives the illusion of a tension-set ring, but with the added safety of a dedicated setting that holds the diamond in place.
A ring is a symbol of unity and love, and a diamond is forever.
Diamonds are one of the most treasured gemstones in the world and the hardest naturally occurring material on earth. Reputedly a ‘girl’s best friend’, the beautiful, captivating stones used in Sheila’s contemporary diamond rings and jewellery are expertly set by hand in our Orkney workshop.
