This sterling silver Swallows Bangle features two enamelled swallows, beautifully placed on the ends of a curving band that mimics the birds’ elegant flights through the sky. The swallows are hand-enamelled in Summer Blue enamel in our Orkney workshop and measure between 12mm and 24mm wide.
Swallows arrive in Orkney in April after a long migration from their wintering grounds in South Africa. Their return is one of the first signs of summer as they grace our skies with their breathtaking speed and acrobatics.
