These petite Standing Stones earrings in sterling silver feature a double stone design approximately 9mm by 16mm. The earrings hang from sterling silver ball posts with an overall drop length of approximately 21mm, and are hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshop.
Sheila’s Standing Stones collection is inspired by the Standing Stones of Stenness, an ancient monument in the heart of Neolithic Orkney. Reaching a maximum height of six metres, the stones have stood for over 5,000 years of sun, wind, rain and snow, and witnessed generations of Orkney people working the land. Sheila’s Standing Stones designs are a perfect complement to her Stone Circles collection, inspired by Orkney’s Ring of Brodgar.
