This Standing Stones dress necklace in sterling silver features two asymmetric stone designs, hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshop. The design measures approximately 18mm by 45mm and hangs from a sterling silver neckwire.
Sheila’s Standing Stones collection is inspired by the Standing Stones of Stenness, an ancient monument in the heart of Neolithic Orkney. Reaching a maximum height of six metres, the stones have stood for over 5,000 years of sun, wind, rain and snow, and witnessed generations of Orkney people working the land. Sheila’s Standing Stones designs are a perfect complement to her Stone Circles collection, inspired by Orkney’s Ring of Brodgar.
