These Sinclair Cross drop earrings in sterling silver are hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshop in 'Champagne' enamel. Each cross design measures approximately 12mm by 18mm and hangs from a silver post.
The Sinclair Cross collection is inspired by the Baron of Roslin Coat of Arms, held by the Sinclair family from around the 11th century. From 1379, Henry Sinclair, and his successors Henry II and William, held the title of Jarl (Earl) of Orkney, a title of nobility with roots stretching back to the 9th century, and covered extensively in the Orkneyinga saga. Sheila’s Sinclair Cross designs are available in silver with enamel and in 9ct yellow gold.
