This Primula Scotica dress necklace in classic 9ct yellow gold features three primula flowers—9mm, 8mm and 7mm diameters—each dropping from a golden flower stem. Each flower has a diamond in the centre set by hand in our Orkney workshop, and the design delicately hangs from a gold wire with an overall drop of approximately 64mm.
The beautiful and rare Primula Scotica flower was the inspiration for this collection. These tiny flowers are about 8mm and are only found in Orkney, Caithness and North Sutherland, usually near coastline. Sheila designed her collection to match the actual size of the flower with its five heart-shaped petals.
Primula Scotica are naturally purple but Sheila’s silver designs are available in a variety of enamel colours. Please enquire if you are interested in enamel colours not shown.
