This Primula Scotica necklace in sterling silver features three flowers, each dropping from a strand of silver and all delicately hanging from a silver neckwire. Each flower is hand-set with a cubic zirconia and hand-enamelled in 'Forget-Me-Not Blue' enamel in our Orkney workshop. The three flowers measure 7mm, 8mm and 9mm in diameter and the pendant piece is approximately 64mm long.
The beautiful and rare Primula Scotica flower was the inspiration for this collection. These tiny flowers are about 8mm and are only found in Orkney, Caithness and North Sutherland, usually near coastline. Sheila designed her collection to match the actual size of the flower with its five heart-shaped petals.
Primula Scotica are naturally purple but Sheila’s silver designs are available in a variety of enamel colours. Please enquire if you are interested in enamel colours not shown.
