This sterling silver Paisley Leaf necklace features three different-sized paisley pattern designs hanging elegantly from a silver wire. Each paisley design is hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshop in Verdi enamel.
Sheila’s Paisley collection is a contemporary reinterpretation of the original, intricate paisley pattern that originated in ancient Persia. These designs became popular in the West in the 18th and 19th centuries and were used extensively in clothing and textiles made in Paisley, Scotland. As a result of its popularity, the design became known as the Paisley Pattern.
