These Mill Sands earrings in classic 9ct yellow gold feature an intricate design inspired by the shapes in sand at low tide. They are finished with a pearl, which delicately drops from the bottom of the design.
This collection is named after the beach below Sheila’s workshop in Tankerness, Orkney. The view over the wide bay is always different, as the light and colour changes with each hour, day and season. Sheila is fascinated with different ways to portray the magic of the sea in her jewellery. Mill Sands is inspired by the unique colours reflected in the wet sands and shallow waters around the shoreline.
