This petite Lunar pendant necklace in elegant 9ct white gold features Sheila’s textured cup-mark design, delicately hanging from a gold curb chain. The slightly concave design is hand-set with a 2.9mm diamond in our Orkney workshop. The design measures approximately 9mm in diameter.
Lunar is inspired by the ancient art of our ancestors. Thousands of years ago at the Ness of Brodgar in Orkney, people carved hollows or cup-marks of various sizes in rough rock, perhaps to signify an event or to follow the passage of time as the moon waxed and waned.
