This Lover’s Knot pendant necklace in sterling silver is enhanced with a hanging hematite that moves independently when worn. The necklace is hand-finished in our Orkney workshop and hangs elegantly from a silver curb chain.
This collection was inspired by the traditional Lover’s Knot, a knot which is not readily undone, dating back many centuries to the art of the Celts. Two interlocking lines knot together to make one pattern. It is also known as Josephine’s Knot after Empress Joséphine, the first wife of Napoleon.
