This Island Panorama bracelet features six enamelled sterling silver links, each approximately 12mm by 12mm, and connected using solid silver bars. Each link is hand-enamelled in 'Shallows' in our Orkney workshop.
When viewed in wide, sweeping panoramas, Orkney's typically low-lying landscape can often appear as only a narrow strip separating sea and sky. Sheila has reinterpreted these smooth and graceful shapes into a simple, elegant collection in sterling silver and 'Shallows' enamel. This enamel evokes the colour of the sea as it washes over the shallow sands at Glimps Holm, one of many Orkney beaches that are an inspiration to Sheila.
