These Hoxa Reflections drop earrings feature a matt sterling silver design inspired by the cliffs at Hoxa Head as they cast shadows on the water. The piece is hand-enamelled in 'Shallows' in our Orkney workshop.
Sheila grew up at Hoxa Head on the island of South Ronaldsay, an area that overlooks the entrance to the sheltered natural harbour of Scapa Flow. Looking out across the water, colours shift with the reflected light as the cliffs cast their shadows.
