This Great Yellow Bumblebee ring in sterling silver features a beautiful bumblebee in vibrant enamel colourways, adorning a sterling silver open band that curls beautifully around the finger. The bee design measures approximately 11mm long and the ring width tapers from 1.7mm–3mm.
Orkney is one of only a few places where the Great Yellow bumblebee can still be found, making it one of Britain's rarest species of bumblebee. As a result, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust is working on a project dedicated solely to saving this particular species.
Sheila Fleet has developed this special collection to closely resemble the markings of the Great Yellow bumblebee, with its distinctive yellow tail.
