This Tidal pendant in rare and exclusive 18ct yellow Scottish Gold features a sparkling 3.5mm diamond, set by hand within an elegant design of interlaced gold, hand-finished in our Orkney workshop. The pendant design hangs elegantly from an 18ct yellow gold curb chain* and measures approximately 17mm by 45mm.
Sheila took inspiration for this collection from the Pentland Firth, the turbulent stretch of water separating Orkney from Caithness where some of the strongest tides in the world are found. The bold, fluid lines in this collection recall the ever-changing shapes of ocean waves and the eternal ebb and flow of the tides.
Scottish Gold comes from the Cononish Gold Mine in remote hills, near the village of Tyndrum in the west of Scotland. The luxurious metal is cast and beautifully finished in the Sheila Fleet Jewellery workshop in Orkney. The final piece is then tested by Edinburgh Assay Office before being hallmarked as authentic, pure Scottish Gold. All Sheila Fleet Scottish Gold jewellery is supplied in a luxury presentation box, accompanied by a unique serial number and certificate of authenticity. Mined, designed and made in Scotland.
* Please note our pendant chains are standard 18ct gold, not Scottish Gold. Pendants can be ordered without chains by special request.
