This Skyran tote bag was inspired by two of Sheila’s earlier collections of jewellery: Skyran and Ogham. In Orkney Norn, ‘skyran’ means to ‘shine or glitter brightly’, which Kirsteen Stewart has beautifully captured with hints of shimmering texture and pattern throughout the design. This is a stylish accessory, perfect for carrying your everyday essentials.

About the collaboration
These beautiful tote bags are a follow-on to a range of designer scarves designed by Sheila Fleet and Kirsteen Stewart in 2021. The two Orcadian designers had often discussed collaborating, and when the global pandemic forced a period of reflection and reset, the design partnership finally began. These tote bags, just like the designer scarves, were inspired by Sheila’s jewellery and some of Kirsteen’s artwork.
