We at Sheila Fleet Jewellery have been incredibly lucky to be part of so many beautiful proposals and big days over years; from assisting nervous husbands-to-be in picking the right engagement ring to long married couple seeking pieces of jewellery that communicate eternal unity. In short, there’s no escaping romance at the Sheila Fleet Jewellery workshop!
Sheila’s designs have always been committed to themes such as love and devotion, as well as the Orcadian landscape which occupies a very special place in her heart.
So with Wedding season fast approaching we thought it the perfect opportunity to reflect on some of our collections that celebrate those we hold dear.
Secret Hearts pays homage to the emblem of love itself – the heart. Enamelled in passion pink or set with a diamond, this range is wonderfully romantic; a truly special gift that reminds the recipient how much they are loved, now and in the future.
Inspired by the first known text to be discovered on Orkney, the Ogham collection features Sheila’s interpretation of an ancient scripture which translates as ‘a blessing on the soul’. One of our most popular collections for both men and women, the Ogham message still resonates with us today and creates a heartfelt message.
A unique collection where nature and romance collide! The Kiss collection was inspired by another of our collections – Wild Grasses – with a romantic twist. We’ve found the Kiss Bangle to be particular popular among couples with the two interlinked circles of precious metal often being interpreted as a symbol of togetherness.
Another collection that plays of themes of entwinement is Lovers Knot. Focusing on designs deeply rooted in Celtic History, this collection of rings, earrings and necklaces is significant to anyone wishing to pledge devotion and partnership.
